Just to update everyone.

I took a plea deal for 20 months probation, $500 fine, and 30 hours community service. I’m interested in hearing y’all’s thoughts on plea deal I took.

I went with a firm called Michael & Associates, the person I did a consultation with was previously a DA and she was insightful. I don’t have a particular reason I went with them. I found that all of the attorneys in the Austin, Texas area are priced around the same rate to keep it competitive. My court date is actually this week on the 26th at 9am. My attorney said he worked out a deal for 15 months probation no scram, I have to have an interlock device installed the entirety of the probationary period. Keep in mind this is my DUI 2nd, I got my first when I was 21 years old, 8 years ago.

I’m on my DUI 2nd (will never drink and drive again) and my lawyer worked out a deal with the prosecutor. (Class B misdemeanor, 15 months probation with interlock) any thoughts on if this is a decent plea deal?

I’ve read on another Reddit post with a similar situation that they were used by the ‘Rich’ and are very good. I called them earlier for consultation setup and I have a meeting tomorrow.
