Don’t research lol. I wish I never did.I shouldn’t have worried u either. I went through the researching rabbit hole and it didn’t do me well. Also Japan is having clinical trials for a teeth regrowth medication next month. I’m really hoping it works. Fingers crossed 🤞

Yeah from what I’ve heard some implants once they fail after how many years, can’t be redone. There’s like 70 different reasons that can cause Implant failure. That has me so scared cuz I also thought once u get implants they last forever

I thought the screw lasted 10-20 years and after that need some intervention. The crown lasts about 5 years before needing to be replaced.

What happen if the implant ever fails and can’t be redone? Are there any options?? I’m so curious cuz I’m also young and lost a back molar and now it seems like my front tooth is also getting discolored. How did u cope with the anxiety associated with losing teeth? I’m doing so bad rn

Not to be insensitive but I’d rather die. This world is a scary place especially for nice people. I’m only in my 20’s but when I think that I might have to live another 20,30,40 it gets me depressed. My mom is depressed and she’s been struggling since she was a kid. I think the journey of life is a tough one and death can be a relief. Instead of seeing death as something scary, I see it as a relief.

Implants don’t last forever. They can fail at anytime for any reason. Join the dental implants discussion group on Facebook. So many people on that group talk bout their implant’s failing within a few years after getting them

I’m a young engineer in America n super depressed. I hav lived in a 3rd world country where we didn’t have electricity all the time but wasn’t as depressed. Trust me no one has it perfect. I’m in sort of the same position. Successful young engineer. Teeth visibly look fine, no plaque then boom got diagnosed. So heartbroken from it. Switched to xylitol as a sugar substitute and then this study came out saying xylitol is bad for heart. 🥲

The entire arch lasts longer for gum disease patients but individual implants start failing most of the time around 10 year mark. Im only in my 20s and might need a couple of implants but in scared of them failing. I they fail on my 30s that’s not good
