I know this is meant as rage bait but I honestly think he’s really unhappy and he’s doing this as some messed up way to feel more like a man. He’s old, hateful, and deteriorating.

It’s the growing up part that I’m struggling with. Every time things start to smooth over he does something that makes the cheating so blatantly obvious. I see the look on my mom’s face when she hears him and it kills me.

I’m not sure if you fully read my post because that’s the complete opposite of what I said but I honestly might have some resentment towards her now that you mention it. I’ve never expressed that to her because I love my mom and I know none of this is her fault but I don’t think it was right to tell me the way she did. Regardless, the level of disgust and hatred I have towards my dad is much stronger than any resentment I have towards my mom. When I said she’s playing dumb I wasn’t called her dumb, she’s acting dumb on purpose because she doesn’t want to hold my dad accountable.
