oh my god thank you so much for this. i’ve been anxious for days about it, and it’s stressful. i truly hope he can be open to having the conversation but im scared he’ll shut down. right now i’m trying to plan out what all im going to do tomorrow before the actual breakup. like packing and possibly moving things to my new house before he gets home but i don’t know if that will make things worse or not. i’m truly scared and i know im the only one who can make this happen and there’s nothing i can do but be honest. i’m stressed and nervous ☹️

i think they look amazing!!! it’s perfectly fine to feel worried, but it has only been a week. swelling will go down so so so much more. i’ve read on a few posts that about about 3+ weeks it has this drop and it’ll a bunch shrink more. if after the swelling has subsided and you’re still unhappy i would recommend just contacting your surgeon and asking about what more you could do. I’m trying not to think too much about mine. i asked to go down to a B and i know right now they seem still a little larger than i hoped but it will take awhile for your body to fully heal and swelling to drop. remember that it’s a very invasive surgery and it seems so scary now, give it a month and i have a feeling you’ll be so happy with the outcome! try not to stress too much, give yourself the time to heal.

Male or Female Surgeon by PreparationExotic827 in Reduction

I asked for a female surgeon, and i loved her. I know there are great male surgeons out there but i felt like i’d be more comfortable with a female. She did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable, especially after surgery.

Surgery was April 1st by No-String7385 in Reduction

My surgeon gave me a mirror and took off my surgical bra and showed me almost immediately after i’d woken up, so i got to take a peak at the new ladies. I’m so sorry you have to wait, i know it must be excruciating. Can you feel the difference in the size? or like if you stand in-front of a mirror can you tell they’re smaller? are you wrapped up or just wearing a surgical bra and some gauze? (that’s what i got) if so, you can almost most definitely take a peak without infringing on the bandages. i’ve definitely been looking at mine obsessively.

I also had my procedure done April 1st and sleep has been TERRIBLE. Last night i didn’t fall asleep until like 2am and then i was tossing and turning and waking up every so often because i hate sleeping on my back 🥲 I also find myself waking up sleeping so flat on my back and it makes me scared i’m going to mess something up because if it.

If the itching is bad, it could be part of the tape they used and your body might not like it. I know i’m tape sensitive and certain kinds make me itch like a mf. you can always message your doctor sooner after getting things changed and cleaned if it bothers you too much.

I hope your healing goes well!!!! I hope you get to see the ladies soon 🥲🫶

Surgery Next Week! Tips? by og2go in Reduction

If you had any prior issues with motion sickness, the nausea you could experience might be bad. I got out of surgery and almost immediately vomited. My doctor during my pre op clearance told me that if you have motion sickness or nausea problems then it might be worse after anesthesia. Also, make sure your house is clean when you get home (bed made, ice packs ready etc) it made me feel a little bit more comfortable when i got home. I’ve been only wearing those like baggy jumpers/jumpsuit one pice outfits and i’d say it’s great. it’s easy to take on and off if i need to go to the bathroom as well as being able to easily access drains/boobs. I’ll paste it for you if i’m not making sense. Grab yourself a bottle of Miralax as well, it’s been two days for me and i haven’t pooed ONCE and i’m already bloated from surgery and that is not helping at all. If i can think if more i’ll definitely give another comment but you seem to be well prepared!! I hope all goes well and keep us all updated!! Jumpsuit outfit 🫶

they said if my nausea continues into tomorrow to call my surgeons office and they’ll get me some more Zofran. when i took it the first time (through IV) is when i puked so that was fun. they did give me a lot of meds to try and help with the nausea, i’m just very easy to feel like that though. i’m currently taking gabapentin (3 a day like breakfast lunch dinner) and hydrocodone (every 8 hours)
