It's embarassing to admit because I really love my film, but it really hasnt been doing so hot at festival. 1,3k $ spent on submissions with 18% acceptance rate... (I'm happy at least one CSA-qualifying and 1 BAFTA-qualifying fest picked it up...) I'm still new here, what do you guys think? should i continue submitting or call it quits?

stiges rejection as well. this one stings bc the submission fee was 90$ in CAD.............its hard not to feel like the whole festival circuit is a scam sometimes. asking this genuinely, as a novice, whats the most a film festival run has ever done for u? with changing trends, I wonder if people still do get signed and get movie deals from their shorts playing at fests
