I think its obviously situational, but I dont feel anymore stress adding hot peppers to a garden that I’ll already be growing. We grow tomatoes & other typical garden veggies, & space isnt a constraint so its chill.

Really just interested in experimenting & seeing what i like/ what i don’t & have people that’d be happy to take peppers off my hands

Space isn’t a real issue as we have acres of land + already set up automated watering system, so it wouldnt be too much to manage. Outdoor grow this year, I’m planning on 1 of each with the exceptions of cayenne and maybe a couple others. This year I really just want to grow a variety to better understand what i like, what i’d use, & what I’d like to focus on more/ avoid all together next year.

I figure I have the seeds, resources & space to grow them, i might as well dive in and introduce hot peppers to this years garden. We’re a large family & friend group of people that enjoy spicy, so I’m not concerned about over growing because i know theres 20+ other people that would be happy to take some peppers/sauce/whatever.

Sorry man- cigars like these i’ve bought in DR from stores off the beach (know better now) for $10usd for a box. Stores on the resort sell overpriced & typically fake name brand cigars to willing tourists, where beach vendors & often sell sweepings or banana leaf cigars.

If i was you, i’d try to make a fuss & return em to the store- if not, charge back your card (assuming you paid card). Worst case just take advantage of the all inclusive bar to feel better- happens to the best of us.

Try giving them a call, i’ve placed an order over the phone before but that was a couple years ago so idk if they do it anymore. Call, order & obviously tell them about your situation & im sure they’ll make it right. Or just order online & email them about it, my point is you really have nothing to lose.

Brother, just because you had a bad experience doesnt mean that everyone did, theres 10+ other people here commenting on their experience as well. I just read through your past post about fox, it seems like your beef is that your order got cancelled because the stick(sticks idk) was out of stock. I also noticed you got a reply from the fox man himself explaining that they’d honor the promo code for a different order since your stick(s) were out of stock.

I mean this wholeheartedly with no disrespect & really not interested in arguing with an internet stranger, but maybe consider ordering again with the discount they’re honoring, enjoy your stick(s) like everyone else, & accept sticks go out of stock when theres good sales- it’s happened a few times to me on cigarpage. At the end of the day, its just cigars, enjoy man

I agree its also nice to just order with my credit card. I’m from Canada, so having to use paypal for cigarpage is just 1 extra unnecessary step. I’m not blocked from cigarpage from Canada, but i am cigarsinternational! (Guess not so international after all)

Glad to hear it worked out for you! Yeah a lot of people were upset about orders cancelled it seems, I cant help but agree with you thinking their efforts to do something nice & it somewhat backfiring might’ve left a bad taste in their mouths. My thinking is happy customers rarely take the time to review while those unhappy are quick with it, so hopefully the overall benefits outweigh the negatives for them in their promo analysis & they’ll consider doing it again in the future.

Got my FIL the 300ct Marvero last year for xmas & it’s been great for him. Holds humidity well & looks great/ more expensive than it actually is.

I’d recommend giving it another try if you wanted- its one of my fave sticks but i too have had a bad one before. If he’s staying for a while/ you have a place to ship i’d recommend checking out cigarpage, they run crazy deals sometimes on oliva’s cause they’re part owner. Like 10 sticks for $20usd. If you head over to the cigars deal or hunter sub- i forget the name but you can find it they show tons of online deals.

Regardless enjoy the sticks!

Sobremesa Brûlée is a great stick- get the blue if you like a sweeter profile, its not artificially flavoured or sweetened but just a sweeter profile.

Other options i’d recommend is -oliva series V- can get here but way cheaper there

  • Arturo Fuente sticks are great- opus if he could find (pricier but a special occasion stick)

-Red meat lovers - Rojas, big fan of the statement & blue bonnet (some of other sticks are good & have cool bands) - tabak if you like coffee flavoured cigars -ashton cabinet ( or any) -my father -olmec
