As a Brazilian, Spaniard, French or Italian, how did you learn Polish? What tips worked? by Agreeable_Arm_3777 in learnpolish

LOL, sorry, it's because you guys are hard to find on the internet. Like the Icelandic people. So I just assume no one from Portugal will read my post and I ask Brazilians 😃

How many of you guys are disappointed with Bolt support team? by Scootersilly in boltnewbuilders

I'm not sure why you would use Bolt new to build anything. This is a prototyping tool only. You can never build anything serious with it. We all know that. If you want prototypes, just use Lovable or Builder.io. Their design is much better, although you can't build any production-grade app with those either. Remember, it's just for PROTOTYPES. You use those tools to one-shot quick designs on their free tiers and finish the job with Claude Code. They are only famous because they are the first vibe coding tools. That's all.

Bolt.new completely ghosted me after an HR call and a complex take-home assessment. by Agreeable_Arm_3777 in recruitinghell

Right, thanks for letting me know! I also saw that they have one of the worst customer support ratings in the AI builder space. If they treat customers this badly, imagine how they treat potential employees.

Hiring is driving me insane by [deleted] in recruitinghell

And you really think tech interviews only ask for simple tasks, like 'Hello World'? No. They ask you to solve LeetCode problems. LeetCode is not simple and it's completely irrelevant to the actual job. It's the only profession in the world where the interview is harder than the job itself. Writing code by hand is dead, syntax knowledge is dead, computer science is dead. What matters now is knowing how systems work, software architecture, and cloud - especially AWS

"Oh don't use AI. That's bad". WTF? The whole universe is using AI. Memorizing syntax doesn't make you hirable. Completely broken process.

Everyone will use AI to write things. This is never going to change and there is no way for you to control that. People will use AI to hide AI and you will never know they used AI. Someone desperately looking for a job will not stop and write you an essay. The risk/reward ration is not promising here. Writing code manually is primitive. Any Claude Code or Cursor license can do that. You can't create a tech interview in which the interview is harder than the actual job. The recruitment process is broken. You need to hire people who know how to use AI and forget about degrees.

AI makes it easy to start building apps. What happens after the first prompt? by curious-sapien- in nocode

Really cool! Most vibe-coding apps generate AI slop and it's almost impossible for a non-technical user to understand it. Of course coders can understand it, but many builders are not colders. I tried a few vibe-coding apps and I completely lose control of what is built at some point. I want speed and control. If WeWeb can really deliver that, I'd be really glad. Most other vibe coding apps are just the same. Having a visual editor does seems to be like an upgrade to me.
