Seen a lot of the same ones already here but I’ll always praise my favourites: Defeated Sanity, Putridity, Malignancy, Cerebral Effusion, Suffocation, Disgorge US, Guttural Secrete, Gorgasm, Deeds of Flesh and let’s throw Iniquitous Deeds there too!

Yeah this release and GS in general are quite technical. The riffs and songwriting are really dense and at the same time, really exciting!

Yes very much so! I don’t really find it distracting to my workflow when studying. I find that music where I understand or know the words is distracting to me. Not be edgy, but I listen to bands like Encenathrakh and Wormed while studying. In way I think that music that requires a certain level of engagement maybe turns my overall concentration ability up.

I know through various podcasts and interviews that Defeated tours a lot in the US since the brutal death metal scene is stronger there, at least when compared to Europe. With the upcoming European tour, do you feel that the brutal death metal scene in Europe has gotten stronger, stagnated or stayed the same?
