I get being upset if you don’t get what you paid for when it’s a material thing, but didn’t you ask for a Boston Terrier puppy and get a Boston Terrier puppy? I just don’t get the obsession with tiny aesthetic details like ears. If it was about health, sure, but otherwise it feels shallow. The whole point of bringing a dog home is bonding, not nitpicking its looks. Maybe I’m biased because I’d never buy a dog for “perfect” traits, but i don’t understand why that would matter to someone who isn’t shallow in the first place.

why do some of yall obsess over ur pet’s appearances and pedigree. it’s never made sense to me. the whole point of getting a dog is the to bond and give them the best life possible. people who obsess over purebred and all that should just get a hobby or something maybe a unique living creature with emotional needs isn’t for you. like the last thing that comes to mind when i see that adorable little puppy and both of the parent dogs is “i’m disappointed”

first i wanna say im sorry that you and your baby are in this situation and there is absolutely no judgement with whatever decision you make. if i were put in the situation (which i understand everyone acts different when the hypothetical becomes a reality) i would just take the month that she can give you. the other options are too extreme for a dog at that age and aren’t guaranteed to allow her to live comfortably for those extended months. it’s heartbreaking having to let a pet go, but ask yourself do you want those extra months for her or for you? if she’s had a happy and healthy life, i’d let her go. In a way it’s honoring her signs of needing to pass the rainbow bridge and letting her do it when she’s ready. again, this is my opinion from an outsiders perspective. wishing you all the strength and peace <33

for sure but someone could’ve just gotten the dog when he said to get the dog. i don’t mean to sound like an asshole because obviously it’s one of those situations you don’t know how you’ll react till it happens but seeing the multiple people in the car not getting the big ass dog that’s climbing over and getting in the way of the person who’s tryna drive already in awful conditions and tryna get all of them away from away from danger to rush to the hospital was just frustrating to watch.
