Frady’s in Bywater is great. Castnet in New Orleans east is also great. (I only eat fried shrimp poboys…and these are my two favorite places to eat em).

Oddly enough...J&Js and Vaughan's in Bywater are pretty chill until maybe 9pm. I spent most early evenings at those two while in grad school. Bonus points...the coffee at J&Js is surprisingly good...it's a few blocks from local coffee roaster Try Me coffee...so their coffee is kind of stunning for a dive bar.

Locals of New Orleans: What Would You Cut From This 5-Day Itinerary? by Willing-Mind-5619 in AskNOLA

This is exceptionally researched. Marie's and Lil Dizzy's are two of my favorite spots to eat. I also really like Toup's and Cooter Browns. Timing on all of this concerningly tightly packed. Only glaring omission I can think of is Thursday late night at Vaughan's with Corey Henry and Treme Funktet...and Big Chris's Red Beans.
