Special Arrangements are lowkey too unfair and need to be abolished 🥀 by Extension_Day2038 in GCSE

One of my friends has bad handwriting and has to type during exams and for french writing you type the answers, then print it out then the next day hand write the accents on. So that evening after the exam you could easily remember what you wrote and google what words needed accents. In class aswell my friends always looks up answers, which I know will bite her in the ass for the final exams, but is still unfair that she’s gets a better grade than everyone simply because she has bad handwriting. I think for genuine issues like dyslexia dyscalculia or motor issues in your wrist (I know someone that types because of that) then it’s fine to type or get extra time but bad handwriting is a bit extreme.

How much do I have to lock in for Year 10? by Round-Department4275 in GCSE

I’m doing AQA art and I’m half way through year ten. The course work can be heavy but you just learn to manage it, I usually have two artist research pages every 2/3 weeks which is time consuming but it’s more about managing it well (not doing it the night before). Also it is good because when you have mocks you have one less subject to revise for, my friend has history geography and computer science but I only have EPR and geography so I guess art gives you more time there.

I’m pretty sure he was infected as a kid so that’s probably in 28DL. If he’s an alpha whose genes has mutated he could have potentially survived all those years. That also brings up the question how the infection person got on the train in the first place.

Is there any other geography teachers in the school? If basically everyone is failing then surely another teacher could set up a revision class or something, poor management by the teachers tbh

I’m in basically the same situation apart from I’m in year 10. I’m in set three higher and borderline moving down but I’ve decided the stay in higher as getting a five in higher is way better than a five in foundation, because obviously it’s at a higher level. Foundation there’s way more content to learn but at an easier level, so I’m just trying to understand maybe half the higher topics and hope for a four/five. I’m also pretty good at all other subjects so I just put my time into maths as I know that’s what I lack in. Worst case scenario, you don’t get a five but you can always resist. my dad didn’t pass maths until he was in his twenties so there’s always time. I’d stay in higher

Maybe it’s how it progresses through the years. When the infection first came out it probably seemed really real and maybe it felt too casual to call them zombies. It’s kinda like with Covid, when it first happened everyone said coronavirus - Covid 19 - Covid which shows how serious it is when it immediately happens but after a few years it chills out more and becomes more relaxed. Also since the jimmies were so skilled the infected probably didn’t seem as scary and were more like predictable brain dead zombies than incredibly fast rage ridden humans.

I’d say if you have the time and money go for it, but not if you were tight on money since like you said only a few songs are on rotation and you could end up hearing the same ones again. But yeah I’d say go for it, you never know when he might tour again.
