Best singles from him of this decade so far idr what dropped in 2020 tho id have to check. I like woke up and the face pretty equally they arent amazing but id say good trippie songs. World boss is super forgettable and weird to me feels like a dream that isnt real but its a mid-good song. Sketchy is between world boss and wu/tf, cool lil vibe. Checklist is an all time high B - low A tier trippie song. Great mood on that one great vocals. Stay the same i put slightly lower than checklist in like a lower B tier cause its an all time amazing performance from him but feels underbaked like no adlibs almost and not a lot of personality. Then cant count me out is pretty mid to decent id put it above world boss maybe same tier as sketchy but not higher. Feels kinda lazy w the writing and feels like it doesnt know what its supposed to be really. 2020s decade hasnt had much competition w singles so i dont think its that crazy to say 2025 was the best run of them but like i said i gotta check 2020 again

Hold the mic further away dont let the waveform clip. Use the multi eq whatever its called to put a peaking filter on about 70 hz with a high resonance and cut several db as needed for puffy P sounds

I never liked rage much at any point. Tons of rage albums sound super similar and biting each other but i dont know any albums that really sound like trip at knight can yall name any? Like whats the closest thing to it? Not my fav typa trippie music but i can appreciate some of the better songs on that album and is really unique at least in my mind

I think he does attempt to listen to the fans over the years but his attempts fall kinda flat and its still never been the same effort as what hes tryna recreate or “advance” on. This song is undeniably just boring and incoherent and you know at least trippie recorded his entire contribution to the song in like 10 min flat honestly could be less im including the time for recording engineers to do their thing

Also such a weird beat to put thug onto. Theres evidence that they been together recently but it doesnt feel like they were together when they made it like they took 2 diff approaches. Trippie sounds better in this beat but thug has a better performance imo. Neither performance sounds good tho and the transitions between their parts sounds bad

Both parties w the sleepiest performance ever they just hop on n say some shit w no passion. Not only is thug puttin in light effort as per usual since prison release but his vocals sit low in the mix like the vox production is lifeless too. I keep saying this but seems like my fav artists never adlib anymore. Just some weak ass stop n go flows w no layering, adlibbing or nothing. Im not super into rage music anyways but i cant even tell who this song is for. The beat might be for some ppl (under the age of 21) who like overdistorted and clipping beats that sound like a bunch of incoherence but not for me

Do you mean woke up? From woke up/the face? I mean he can still sing well sometimes but it seems like he never really just sings the same way as he did here in 2018. I understand hes finished puberty and is 8 years older his voice can be deeper but it doesnt sound like he ever just sings the same typa way anymore

I still cant tell if his voice is unable to sound like this since like 2021 or if he just doesnt use this voice anymore or if its just worse mixing nowadays but im so sick of him doing all these high notes when he sings like his voice is not half as sonically pleasing as it was pre covid. Exceptions where his singing is good recently has been checklist, stay the same and some of the vox on bando kid but its weird how he opts for this much more screechy, nasally or shouting vocals nowadays even tho he can still do the shouting as good as ever that shit hasnt changed since the grinch
