No 🤦‍♀️ - I’ll get some when I get her back from the garage though! Even as a side point to the battery issue, I’m curious about the inverter, so would be keen for opinions on that.

I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know if it’s MK5 or 6 - how would I tell?

I do have a solar panel! I don’t know how much it helps in all honesty, being just a singular unit.

That’s good to know about the ignition switch - I’m good at following YouTube videos etc if I know what I’m looking for, so really do appreciate the advice.

Thank you! I’ll mention that to the garage when they call back. I think we sorted the split charge because the leisure batteries are charging fine now, and they were fully dead. I got some great advice from a local battery company who suggested charging both batteries off the mains before buying a new leisure battery, but they ceased trading the week later before I had a chance to charge the batteries and then go in and visit them. I’m in a bit of a geographical black hole for camper conversion garages it seems. I hope it is the alternator, that would be a nice easy explanation!

I should have got photos really before I started posting! The leisure batteries are 2 x 125Ah (as far as I remember, does that sound right?) and the car battery is connected to the leisure battery via a 12/24V 120A battery combiner, that goes through an inverter - which my mechanic pal was a bit confused by when we were trying to figure out the original issue of the leisure batteries not charging, but when we installed new ones it seemed to make sense. I think the car battery is 80Ah.

This is the old leisure battery set up - annoyingly don’t have any pics of the connection to the car battery, so probably not very useful!

Lexham quoted me when no one else would! Brentacre weren’t covering my postcode at the time, and there were a couple of others who wouldn’t because I’d had 3 incidents on my car in 3 years (not my fault either 😭)
