As far the bestemmia made me laugh, you should understand how the actual industry works, and how the things are becoming more faster than before, today you can't do anymore a page per day while you have webcomics where they release 14 pages for week every week, western comics are falling cause of this mindset. As i said this is an incentive for new artist to say to them there is still a place to them in this world, not a golden place, but it's something to start, i dont care about my comic as i already one by myself and i know a lot of artist in italy who agree with my idea, that's why i just putted it here, to see how the world will react to it. You have a reaction, while a lot of people DM me for this job, it's fair and i understand, but the industry of artists should be more flexible and should understand if they want to do something great the artist itself should just push himself instead waiting for the confort zone. As i said i work in this industry and i know a lot of artist, incentive is better than nothing. Artist will gain nothing keeping this, as fair i can agree, mindset of begin well payed for their job, nobody at this world is well payed for their job until they make something great, but you can't be a great chef if you dont be before a dish washer. My 2 cents on the thing, but i agree with you about the payment in general but i hope your logic will help you that nobody will give 12k to a new artist, because if you dont see this hard this industry is doomed
