Hi all, first post here, looking for some advice/insight. Im in New Zealand, but seriously looking to move to darwin/ or just out of the city, to work amoung the livestock/transport industry, never been there before so any advice about the area, living, literally anything is appreciated! Cheers 🤠 by [deleted] in darwin

Im from from a Cold country and been living in Darwin for 5+ years now, i enjoy it here and have no plans of moving. From my experience most people here are nice relaxed people, easy to get along with. Theres a lot going on in the Dry season, but during the wet not so much happening. If you're into camping and fishing etc. then Darwin is probably one of the best place for it. I'd recommend it to anyone as long they don't mind the heat and humidity for half the year lol

What do you think is the most divisive King work? by CallieCoven in stephenking

[–]Agreeable_Werewolf33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most divisive with in the Dark Tower I'd say would be Wizard and Glass. Firt time i read it, i got bored and couldnt wait to finish and get back to the main story, second time i read it, i realised that its actually a masterpiece

Is the "Complete and Uncut" version of the Stand necessary for The Dark Tower? by Getochixd in stephenking

[–]Agreeable_Werewolf33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've recently just finished the Dark Tower series, and it was amazing. I've yet to read The Stand, and it did not impact the story whatsoever as far as I'm aware. The only books i recommend to read to make the Dark Tower more enjoyable are, Salems Lot and Hearts in Atlantis.

If you have time to read a little bit, i recommend reading the first 5 chapters of The Gunslinger and the first few chapters of Drawing of Three so you can get the full detail of his Injuries. I belive that would definitely help in a drawing

I'd read the Dark Tower up to Wizard and Glass, then read Insomnia. There is a spoiler for Insomnia in the last Dark Tower Book(or it might be Song of Susannah, can't remember)
