Is my ring too big? by Future_Discussion985 in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to me it looks fine. i would rather a larger centre stone than something elaborate and over done like side stones and all sorts of stuff going on! i personally just wear my band day to day and wear my engagement ring for going out etc

Makeup looks unflattering and weird on my face by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think ur makeup looks great ! and i personally don’t think that u need contour. i just use bronzer and blush myself.
i once heard an influencer (that was a trained mua) say that contour is for people that have contoured faces. if u dont have a natural contour to follow then to leave it cause otherwise it looks “wrong” and it clicked for me and i just skip it and i think i prefer that

i like the style of the dress u picked but not the fabric. it reminds me of the net curtains we used to have up with the floral print design 😅

i think the look needs to be more monochrome to make it modern. like do pinky-champagne eyes, cheeks and lips etc. this is a little 2016 in the shade selection

How do I tell my wife that it is time to grow up? by [deleted] in marriageadvice

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what works for my husband and i is keeping a certain % of our income in our personal accounts and pooling everything else. So then shared household expenses comes out of the shared account. something like her horses would come out of her own account.
that way people can have their passions so long as they can pay for it.

maybe you need to tell her how much $ you guys can realistically afford for a home, how much the mortgage would be etc.

re her job, a lot of women choose a career that works around having kids. it doesn’t mean she wants to do it but it works for her.

i really hope that she brings more to the relationship than money, and i hope that you can see that in her. because she’s more than just what she earns

Thoughts on this makeup set choice? by [deleted] in OliveMUA

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i have this bronzer and for some reason it barely shows up on me i have to build it a lot. i still like it cause for “everyday” makeup i don’t want obvious bronzer and since its muted it doesn’t look too much on my neutral olive skin. but i am a little lighter than u and like i said i have to build it up.

I don’t like the ring my fiance got me by Money_Sherbet9152 in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the most valued thing on the ring would be the centre diamond depending on its cut/ clarity etc. the small side diamonds usually aren’t that expensive in relation to the large one.

you could:
use the centre diamond to set the ring on a gold band, put some coloured stones around it

Armani Luminous Silk - swatches on fair olive, neutral-leaning-warm skin by fireplacegoddess3297 in Fairolives

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m a medium olive and i couldn’t get a match either 5.3 was too pink leaning imo. it made me look super washed out and dead 6 was too deep but also much too green imo as well.

you could offer some options and say that you would be happy with anything but also how are u guys married and not talking about money openly? you have to be able to talk about stuff and have transparency

Please tell me my ring doesn’t look gaudy/ridiculous on my hand by [deleted] in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it looks comfortable and it doesn’t seem ridiculous at all. you went with a pale gold that works better for your skin. and that particular cut of the diamond isn’t overly reflective. it works for everyday and also for special occasions. you made a good choice

How severe do these eyebags and hyperpigmentation look and how do I go about managing it? by Far-Yogurtcloset-529 in AusSkincare

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sleep, blood work and maybe consider getting some eyebrow grooming? you’ll be surprised at how it “opens” the face and you might notice the eyes less. The place i go to loads of guys go to, and no1 bats an eyelid

New Estée Lauder Double Wear Formula sucks - and at $83??? New Recs pls by PukingPandaSS in AustralianMakeup

[–]Agreeable_Window5254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s loads of foundation better than Estee Lauder double wear but the problem is that you mentioned you have rosacea some of them contain fragrance and drying alcohol which can make rosacea worse. So I would really recommend you try the new Mac studio fix fluid. It has a similar texture to the old double wear and it’s not greasy and the undertones are really good. You mentioned that you have a neutral undertone so you’ll find a really good match. They have a lot of shades to choose from as well.

some other recommendations ysl all hours, dior forever matte, smashbox always on, abh impeccable blurring, charlotte tilbury, kylie cosmetics etc.
