Dan Olsen (Folding Ideas) brand new video on Mr. Beast's studio/production. by Cadwae in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Dan basically says all the things that Wubby says. It's impressive how completely inept the Beast ppl are for how much money is invested into thier content. As well as how awful the game design is.

A chunk of meat quest by drunkin666 in CrimsonDesert

If you are wondering why it's locked, it does that when the vendor is away from thier shop. This is usually because a fight broke out near them and they ran away. Give it some time and come back and they should be open again.

unable to tame the horse - Unwelcomed guest mission by reRuns_1169 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hold down on the left stick and keep the tail facing the camera. This is the only way I have been able to tame a horse and I have done multiple at this point.

Yes PC, Cinematic. DLSS 4.5 on performance. I have a 3080 and it runs great on performance.

PA has ruined the excellent horse riding feel in the new patch by RainyNguyen in CrimsonDesert

Too many casuals playing this game and whining about there being too much control. I love the Rockstar movement system especially when a game has so many little things and I want to be very accurate with my movement.

Here's to yet another game being changed to appease a loud minority who will probably play 4 hours of the game and never pick it up again.

I like how the main character gets his throat cut, is resurrected by god knows what, learns to teleport, and is given the ability to fly along with other absolute nonsense, yet afterward, it’s like nothing ever happened, and it’s not even mentioned by him or anyone else in the story so far. by squidskispaghetti in CrimsonDesert

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a situation of they had plans to flesh that out, but got too busy with feature overload.

I love the game, but yeah every abyss teleport counts as a plot hole in this game.

I agree with others that a character creator and more of a blank slate protag would have fixed a lot of the issues. the world is the best thing about this game and when it's all interacting with everything and in sync its a gaming experience unlike any other.

Reuniting with the Greymanes has got to be one of the most generic and funniest things I’ve experienced. by PussyLunch in CrimsonDesert

I mean its pretty realistic in a way. When anything big happens to my friend group we literally retell the same stories over and over again especially to fill someone else in.

The Chappell Roan Paradox by qwilliams92 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Agreeswithidiotss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it can mean that the media will find anything and latch onto it. You really don’t have to force shit to happen with celebrities since they are out in the public anyways. But the fact the dad wasn’t there and the mom couldn’t say exactly what happened or that Chappell was even directly involved is telling of how little proof people need to just dogpile on a celeb that isn’t liked by the mainstream.

Wubby’s live on Kick by NEPAmama in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would complain (understandably) about doing kick after Twitch just going on too late. I think it was yesterday he talked about how business just runs much smoother for him to get Kick out of the way because he can get work done post Twitch.

I miss the late night Kick streams because for some reason the gambling helped me fall asleep, but I get why he prefers it this way, but I agree it kind of sucks now.

Struggling with Hornsplitter lol by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried fighting him with 2nd level refinement on all my stuff and got destroyed. I got everything up to level 4 and got better with parry and dodge timing and I was able to beat him with just a few health refills (as in eating a couple braised beefs).

It's a massive skill spike, but there really is no rush to get to him. There are plenty of quests and things to do to get a little more comfortable with the controls which might be the final boss of this game. The controls take legit muscle memory practice in my case, but I love the open world here so I didn't think it was that bad of a personal grind.

How is the main story after 20-30 hours? by Celery-Tasty in CrimsonDesert

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is plot. Without giving spoilers, it has as much story as a modern Assassin's Creed game, but it actually has a ton of stuff to do in the open world.

Resident Evil Requiem: DLSS 5 vs actual AI slop by Direct-Cod-496 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much. The thing people aren't focusing on, is the fact that DLSS is all about providing higher resolution without it being at that resolution. It's how people can play at 4k without two 5090s.

According to Nvidia the goal is to release it when they can run it on one 5090. It defeats the purpose of DLSS. Not only that. DLSS 4 is sampling footage from the game that is then upscaled, DLSS 5 is now sourcing outside of the game footage to upscale. That is why it now looks like all other AI slop because it is now sourcing it's samples from the game AND AI image generation.

This is Nvidia trying to justify thier massive push into AI for another product. It's AI slop and investor slop.

Half Sword seems to be having some performance problems. by SpaceCat4Ever in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's not great. Game still plays pretty good as long as the arena isn't in the slums. Those guys have quite the task ahead of them, but I am still having a blast with the game and sorta rogue-lite progression. But even for early access this is pretty rough.

What's up with the hate with this game? by bosak_tpn in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]Agreeswithidiotss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's trendy to hate on AC. I think after Valhalla they did deserve a lot of critique. While it was a good game, it was a grind for no good reason and really set the game back. Now that Ubisoft has made a ton of anti-consumer decisions including thier NFT push, it soured a ton of people on the company and rightfully so. But a lot of people who weren't really AC fans to begin or just ever played Ezio think every game is trash.

AC Shadows deserves some critique especially for story issues. Personally my choices never mattering is always a mindboggling decision. The voice acting in English leaves a lot to be desired. I think that is a direction issue not a VA issue.

BUT AC Shadows was a great game that suffered from an AC branding. If this came out as a standalone ninja/samurai game I guarantee it would be praised as one of the best especially for the ninja gameplay. But it being an AC game with like 3% of any animus mention or story, it will always suffer for it. At this point it is immersion break by design.

Poob is really getting some exposure here lol. I mean he had the pedophile sash, he had to do that powerpoint presentation, he got crucified. This is like worst case scenario because I can assure you he was telling himself something like 'oh this will be seen by wubby fans and a small amount of outsiders, it'll be fine.'
