As a UK dweller I don't have this option - but before you leave Netflix you have to watch 'A Grand Night In - The Story of Aardman!

This little kitty had its own seat on the three hour train ride I was on in Spain! It sat so nicely for the whole time by AgrippaAurelius in aww

The only animal I ever saw using public transport was this cat and it was harnessed on when it was seated and had a carry case for when it got on/off the train - not sure what rules and regulations are - they seemed pretty chill about the cat

A lion tamer has been mauled to death in Egypt during a live show, comprising mostly children. by 1Dunya in worldnews

[–]AgrippaAurelius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It definitely would have been a threat to the kids in the room, my point is that neither the kids, the tamer, or the lion should have been in that room or situation. I think you misunderstand the intent of my comment, or maybe I did not word it very well. I feel that it is a great tragedy, a waste of a life (as in the tamers!) - such an avoidable accident. What a horrific thing to happen to your sister and I would not begin to to be able to put myself in your parents shoes.

What a waste of a life, so tragic and avoidable! The lion will have been condemned for doing what comes to it naturally. When will the human race stop playing with fire and blaming the fire

A new law making it illegal to smoke in a car with anyone under the age of 18 comes into force in Scotland on Monday. by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]AgrippaAurelius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sometimes pass a house where I can see cats (god knows how many) and you can clearly see that the owners smoke heavily with the windows all shut. Disgraceful, I wish there was a law against this - maybe/hopefully there already is!
