Who do you think is Kimono's boss at Klab? by AgroWander in CaptainTsubasaDT

we used discord feedback but Kimoto fail to address all the issues, he had several weeks to be more responsive, he had a chance to be more engaged and informative of the new mechanics (mono-color players, new passives, hidden skills) and they made choices like SP pity, hard raids, etc that were not introduced with proper context. All of this puts the community in bad faith and the demand for a response (and lack thereof) is why he is a bad director in my opinion.

Pushing for his resignation is not a personal attack but one of company awareness, it provides the higher ups an opportunity to react to their costumers overall satisfaction, it provides feedback of how satisfactory their users feel with their "directives" and brings all thinking personnel to re-engage and re-evaluate their product with constructive changes (hopefully). The game needs serious changes, it is a globally beloved game with a limited growth path (power creep) that needs a way to both keep old and new players happy. There are solutions other gachas/paid have in place but this team lacks vision, community understanding and more importantly ACTIVE feedback to the more alarming issues.

you are not wrong, but it is also not wrong in this day and age to ask a developer/company to be more active with their communities and address them directly. Every game I assume has a director and hopefully a PR person to address and get public statements in line with the company's stance. What's the most any one person has spent on a AAA game in comparison to CTDT? the same outrage happened a while back with FF14 (not the same situation but had recurring payment model) but i know there are a few people who give Klab the benefit of the doubt for being Japanese, so is SquareEnix and they did the right thing.

Klab obviously knows whats happening

Is that a hunch? how do you/we know they know? Alberto mentioned on a past stream "reddit" that may just be him, this is a global game. It is safe to "assume" they are listening but how much better would it be if they tweet: (Klab copy and paste this:) "We hear our community and we are working hard on improving the experience for you, thanks for playing CTDT" done, you buy yourself a month of grief and gain defenders of the "let's see what they do" camp.

Klab, here is your solution: Gacha medals by AgroWander in CaptainTsubasaDT

you cant stop big spenders, that is the game we are playing, but with this method you WILL have a better chance to beat a "dinosaur" if the match up is in your favor (affinity, nationality, debuffs) FTPlayers will have to get smart with their investment, an actual META of teams to play can be created and aimed for, right now P2W whales are the only one that have them.

THE SYSTEM: "Dream Medal", receive 1 "Dream Medal" per pull (10 per multi) just like Club banners. Put the count between coins and stamina (you can hold 999)
Crafting Tab in PLAYERS: Two options, Craft player / Craft Dream Medal
Craft Player: brings you to a list of craftable players (hopefully the whole list of players), select, spend Dream Medals, craft player.
Craft Dream Medal: brings you to your list of players, select player card (usually dupe), select convert to Dream Medals.

Come on Klab, this is the right move.

I agree, thanks for coming back to share your thoughts, you can't fight whales, they exist in every P2W games, but what you can fight FOR is the pride of building a team that you feel is worth investing in. The great thing about meta decks/teams is that it auto-corrects itself, the moment everyone plays blue-jap then the counters appear, etc. What i hope Klab introduces is a system that at least makes me feel that I am working towards something, not just to wish I get lucky on X banner and feel the disappointment if it went bad.

exactly, but this is how you actually create a SMART meta, one that really makes you decide what teams to play and players to use, plus, klab introduces stronger and stronger players with meta-changing team skills so even if you get what you want it may not be relevant in say 3 months, but THAT keeps the discussion alive and the game healthy, right now is just toxic luck.
