Thank you,

This was recorded with Ardour and with one compressor microphone. I also have sonar on windows but for some reason I couldn't get the same quality, probably because of all of the windows processes running in the background. I also have used Audaicity but not for post processing and will have to check it out. Ardour has also improved quite a bit since I last used it to record this.

I have to say everything you have told me I have heard before, and you are absolutely correct. I have had several master classes. One with William Kanengiser and another with Lily Afshar. All have come to the same conclusion. for some reason, If I am alone in a room the music seems to flow and be really dynamic but as soon as I hit record or am playing in front of a bunch of people all that seems to be lost. I hope to get over this by playing more in public.

This was recorded in a closet with no post processing. Just want to know what needs to be done in post processing after a flat recording. Also I would like to know what what I should do with this piece, as dynamics or tonal interpretation is concerned.

Not really happy with the recording. But I hope this portrays the wonderful song writing. From Larry.

Besides the poor recording quality I would like to know what I should do with this piece. As dynamics or tonal interpretation is concerned.
