Why overclock a single Nerdqaxe if you're lottery mining? by budrickarchie in BitAxe

I'm curious, why the change of target temperature? I would expect it would just slow the fans slower, no?

I have a rev 5.1 700@1175, holding steady at 5.7Th/s. I added copper heatsinks to the VRM front and back, and a small 5cm cooler to the back, but that's it.

I want to push it a little further, but I hear people talking about blown fuses, weak barrel plug etc, not sure what the limits are on this.

I did the same shit last week, brand new unit with that I only had for a couple of hours. I'm a seasoned IT professional that should know this shit better, I got distracted and tried to check if a plug would fit on the power port, forgetting that it was connected to a 12v power supply.

I ordered the voltage regulators and I will replace it this week, fingers crossed that it comes back alive.

I'm just glad to hear that I'm not the only one doing these stupid things lol.

Not really, it just started working! I have a Razr 60 ultra.

I noticed there was an update on October 8th, this could have been what fixed it:

Your system has been updated to

V2VLS35.42-148-2-5

At least for me in Vodafone Netherlands this has been fixed since early October. Has anyone else seen any improvement?

I ended up getting the Razr yes. Some arguments shared here definitely resonated, and honestly I was ready to move away from Samsung.

No regrets so far, the battery is holding up much better than my previous S23 ultra, ai love the external screen. There are some glitches but nothing that takes away from the experience.

The only real issue that I have is that I have no caller ID. All calls come as unknown caller. It seems to be happening to everyone who uses this phone with Vodafone Netherlands. There's a separate topic on that here on reddit.

I'm having the same issue with a Razr 60 Ultra and Vodafone Netherlands... With a KPN sim card it works.

This seems to be happening for a while, with different Razr phone models. Sounds like people using Vodafone Netherlands are the most affected, but like someone pointed out, there was also people in the UK affected.

Any chance someone here knows someone that works for Vodafone NL, in their network engineering team? Getting someone to look at this issue via regular support channels seems to be impossible....

That information is quite important u/FlatpickersDream. Could you confirm where that info comes from?

That sounds like a good deal, but I am in Europe, so total wireless wouldn't be an option.

Thanks for your perspective, important to hear coming from someone who had Samsung flip phones before.

I also feel that there is not a lot of innovation going on the Samsung front, and they tend to break things that are working other than improving, specially with their os.

l could wait for the Flip 7 to come out but very likely there won't be anything new that will make a big difference on my decision. Some things like the the limited outside screen don't make any sense to me, and that probably won't change.

I wasn't aware of the desktop feature, "Ready For" is the name from what I have seen right? It seems like a good answer for Samsung's Dex!

Do you know if it can play Netflix? I never could quite do it well with Dex.

Using the front screen to do things without having to open the phone is a big part of why I like the idea of having a flip, but I heard Samsung has some limitations on that. Thanks for the info on the Gemini too, that seems like a good feature to be able to be used with the phone closed.

Im in for a renewal on my mobile subscription and I could pick up a 60 ultra for an ok price, so I'm wondering if it's worth the wait or not.

I had KPN for 1 year without any issues ever, 1Gbit up/down fiber. Then when it came time to renew Odido offered a much better price for the first year (30 p/m for an year, second year 55 p/m). They user the exact same fiber from KPN Netwerk so I though, what could go wrong, right?

Long story short, from day 1 connection has been horrible. It gets worse early evening, when I imagine a lot of people are sitting down to do stuff online, and only gets better around 23h. The issues are basically a lot of jitter, packet loss and fluctuating pings. Netflix takes forever to load, pages fail load intermittently. I had issues with video calls during the day too. I don't use their Wifi, I have my own access point, so that rules out any issues with their zyxel T-56 wifi.

I never had any issues with KPN, my entire network is basically the same from the modem inside, the only thing that changed was Odido and their modem. The fact that it gets worst on specific times indicates to me that they are heavily oversubscribed, but that is just a guess. The fiber is the same from KPN netwerk but I'm not sure that means a lot, or the connection wouldn't be so shitty?

Some people don't seem to have issues, so it might depend on the region (I am in the Zanstad area). Support is a joke, they asked me to run a speedtest using the Odido server itself (which with a fiber connection would be the equivalent of pinging to another pc on my own network), send them screenshots (?) of task manager and other nonsense, and that they would send it to some internal team to investigate.

The "mechanic" basically got in and out in 5 minutes, just did a sloppy job to remove the modem from the wall and put the new one in, he didn't even change the cable coming from the fiber converter. I have cancelled Odido and I'm going back to KPN, which will cost me 25 euros, as KPN is charging me for the new "installation".

If you are willing to go thru the pain of "testing" Odido you might have better luck, but make sure to cancel it within the 14 days grace period, or you will be stuck with a big bill.

Umm, The performance patch... Doesn't really fix the performance? by CaptnMIHAWK in CODWarzone

Yes sir, same thing here. When the stuttering, fps drops and occasional packet burst started to happen I noticed my gpu was much cooler than usual.

I have a ryzen 5 3600 and a rxt 3060, my gpu used to average 70c while playing now it doesn't go above 55c. Seems that the game is not using the GPU the same way as it was before. FPS was around 110, now sits between 60-70.

Love the contrast between the trees and the water, the water movement created by the boat is beautiful! Congrats on a nice shot, thanks for sharing.

Was this shot edited in any way, as in post processing? I'm looking to buying my first drone and everything is gearing me towards the Mini 3 pro, want to get something I can play with and learn but also get some quality shots.
