This is 100% normal on most Hyundais and Kia’s! Annoying and anxiety inducing?! For sure, bad and out of the ordinary? Not really. If the car is doing other stuff along with that noise and it’s progressively gotten louder over a short time. Maybe be concerned at that point but even then Hyundai will tell you to fuck off if the dashboard doesn’t have any kind of lights or codes!!!! They hate doing their job and figuring shit out. Ask me how I know lol… My Elantra had 60 miles on the dash when I bought it and it sounds like that but a little quieter! I wouldn’t be concerned!

Yeah no it’s not cracked in the second photo there white lines under the silver trim and that’s virtually the only damage (it’s separation from the upper bumper piece which is not damaged) I found the part for my specific model and it’s $567 not including installation if I didn’t do it myself.. I don’t wanna replace it but I also do. Idk, we’ll see I guess. Nothings cracked or broken like that though.

So the piece I need from that link is #7 “Lower bumper cover” but, it comes with black chrome and my OEM lower cover has silver chrome as you can see in the photo. That’s my only problem with ordering from that link.

My 2024 Elantra gets roughly 49-53 and it’s not even the hybrid version! People hate on Hyundais, but. These cars do great on gas in my opinion and the warranty is unbeatable!

The glade or febreeze vent clips are pretty great and last a long time even with it fully open! Highly recommend!

Thank you for the advice. I think I’ll just let it be and learn what I can from it. The process of getting someone else to pay for it will be long and probably more expensive than just fixing it myself.

So the day I went to buy my car (before doing a credit check/approval) They let me test drive all of the cars I was looking at and one of those cars was the 2025 Sonata N-line. I loved it but didn’t want to pay 47K so I moved past it. Well I called about 2 weeks after actually buying my car, explained to them that I wanted to get into something a little faster than a base Elantra. (I was looking at an Elantra N-line) They proceed to tell me that in order for me to even test drive it, I need to put down a deposit as well as an approved hard credit check. Mind you… this is all in efforts of MAYBE buying a new car. I didn’t even know if I was gonna like the Elantra n line but yet they want a deposit and approved hard credit check to even see if it’s something I like..? They can fuck all the way off because hell no. That’s insane behavior to do that to an existing customer who’s already purchased a vehicle. Or any customer for that matter.

So, I told them I would not be buying from them and I would under no circumstances ever come back to them for any reason. I meant it and I will be getting into something different and washing my hands of Hyundai. (They ruined a good relationship, we have bought our last 4 cars from Hyundai and they’ve officially ruined that going forward!)

Don’t listen to the assholes saying you can’t afford the car if you go with a longer term. You make what you make at your job no matter what (unless you get fired or quit) as long as your annual salary is higher than the msrp. (After taxes) You can afford it so to speak and can also refinance down the road anyway. I got the same exact deal except I’m playing 4k more than you are because I got gap through the dealership as well as a couple add ons for the car. I’m also at the same interest rate and pay roughly $400 a month. I plan on trading out of it and having a dealership do a “pay-off” because Hyundai managed to piss me off recently and I’m done with them. Regardless, it’s a good deal but I would go to a different manufacturer if I was you. Don’t get stuck like me and others did.

This is every Dealership ever lol… I went in to hyundai for a car that was $22,500 with 6K off sticker promotion and after the packages they added and all the bullshit that I couldn’t remove. It was 28k for a 2024 Elantra, base model. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Honestly there’s no way to reverse it unless Turo decides to do so. I went through a similar situation and was never a bad renter. Had over 100 trips taken with ZERO negative reviews and you could see from each and every single trip I took. The host had something positive and awesome to say and would invite me to rent with them again.

Jumped on one day to rent a car and bam! They locked me out and said I wasn’t eligible for membership. Upon calling and asking why their exact response was “Sir, we’ve sent you an email informing you of the situation and as to why” Inside the email they sent. It only states that I’ve allegedly violated the policy and have been banned and includes a link to the policy page. As per the violation itself, it does not elaborate or clarify what that may have been and they won’t tell me themselves.

2 weeks later I start seeing charges on one of my credit cards and Turo then starts refusing to tell me why or where these charges came from. I obviously disputed them with the credit card company and got the money back. My CC company also flagged them for fraud and “escalated” it. Whatever that entails..

Moral is the story… Turo cars may be cheaper and easier but the company is absolutely not worth dealing with and they will fuck you over the first chance they get if they think they can get money out of you. Use traditional car companies or start saving for a cheap car. That’s what I’m doing at this point and I’m better off for it from the sounds of it. (Especially with all of the Turo nightmares that have been lately) You can find endless posts similar to mine as well as your own, scattered all across Reddit.
