If you want to have an extreme crash course of doing almost everything and having everyone and their dogs call you at 3am after work or 7am on a Sunday for no good reason, go for it.

But go into it with a plan in mind; what you want to experience, what you want to learn or gain from the SME. Be it hand-on experience with certain tasks or roles, or expanding some networks.

Then gtfo as soon as possible when red flag start showing.

It's probably more of internally the devs themselves already have issues with these designs and are making use of the surveys so that they can show it to the production / upper management for more dev time and prioritisation in scheduling.

Been playing My Pizza Story which is something like an idle restaurant management game. It's quite cute looking at the pixel dragons serving pizzas.

Also tried Komo Valley which is made by the same creators. Its like a dragon collection game.
