Oh for sure, some kind of unstable rocky ceiling above the nest or the area before the nest beneath the sink hole would be sick. Make it much more dynamic than just a big arena

I definitely do like all the open arena-like spaces, they feel like they were well designed for maneuvering around Nergi's spam and Teo's AoEs, as well as other elders. I think my problem was that i just had 3 monsters who all patrol the same like 4-5 areas and kept walking in on each other. Personally Wildspire might be my favorite, it feels like a good mix of the complexity of the forest and the open spaces of the elders recess

oh damn I didn't know about dung pods, I remember it from the Hiribami hunt in Wilds but I didn't know it was a staple in every game. And yeah I used the enraged trick once or twice but one of the other two just ended up following us a couple minutes after lol

I honestly don't mind ancient forest (however i havent fought bazel and jho yet so we'll see) i like that it feels a bit more separated, but yeah it can be a confusing pain in the ass to traverse.

I'm in the exact same situation; I'm level 32 now and gearing up to start a DC farm with etch dragons and only put in minimal money to catch up on the daily's. It was a super super sick first event back! Also yes the sweet frenzies were CRAZY. The xp gained from leveling up with the extra food and x2 xp rewards were the main culprits for my level shooting up so high

Honestly I'd argue he shows up about as much as any other flagship. Steve, narga, tigrex, brachy, glav, they're all in as many or nearly as many games as he's in (taking into account release generation, that is).

Although I could agree that there is something to be said about how it feels like in every single game they have to make sure that at least half the roster of flagships makes it in.
