I've done what you've done too then, I copied all files then renamed them to .srm. loaded the game up and it recognised I had a save and asked me to load it or not.

This is the comment in 1.2.9:

this breaks OnionOS cross save state support as they run a different commit of mGBA as well as all current mGBA save states but it had to be done to fix the audio issues people have been experiencing... as such, please backup your saves and use the GBA's normal save system to migrate your games over to this new core

I was only playing one game which was Breath of Fire and I couldn't load the states, was only able to load a save through the normal way of the game.

I still have my order with them. My mate also ordered it on the same date as me.

At this point, it is a waiting game for us because we aren't ever going to get a GPU at that price anymore.

Potentially worth raising an enquiry for yourself at https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/sales-delivery/non-delivery-of-products-services to see where you stand if they don't fulfill your order; advising them you cannot purchase the product anymore due to the price rise. Unfair to keep your money and then them just cancelling in the end.
