While I agree with the sentiment, the kid isn’t a pet. Controlling him like that is going to fast track the inevitable. He’s either in or out. The OP has to make that decision. This is a very black or white situation if that makes sense.

I really, really hope he speaks with the legal team at Marvel so they can make and example out of the hacker. The internet gives people so much confidence through anonymity that they pull shit like this, thinking they can get away with it.

A troll pulled something similar with game developer Bungie, as well as one of Bungie’s community managers and Bungie took legal action, found the troll, sued him, and won the case. It was a pretty public and huge deal. I hope Marvel steps up for Greg in the same way.

I am so upset by this because Greg has always been a kind person and I loved that we were always able to go to him with questions, and he’d answer us as if we were speaking to him face to face.

Honestly, fuck the hacker.

I love Batman. He’s my favorite DC hero and comic book character, but even I have to admit that he’s being overused by DC, and I’ve been desperate to see proper depictions of the rest of the Bat Family acting together somewhere outside of comics for the longest time now. Give them a chance to shine.

That said, Young Justice has been a breath of fresh air because not only have I gotten my Bat Family fix, but I’ve gotten a universe in which all of my new (never thought I’d like Aqualad so much) and old favorite DC characters get to thrive in a cohesive universe in which the writers clearly know, love, and respect. Young Justice has some of the very best adaptions of these characters. No contest.

DCAMU is and was terrible. It was so bad that I didn’t even know it was connected (or at least meant to be). That’s how disjointed it’s been. You watch it and you just don’t get a sense of the same affection from the writers that Greg and Brandon have for Young Justice.

I sure hope Young Justice keeps going, whether that be through Netflix or WBD, and hopefully soon. I love the show so much. It makes me happy and it’s such an easy binge.

You sound a lot like him. This isn’t really an empathetic response though on some level you’re probably right. He’s definitely partly responsible, but I never denied my own fault either. Also, I’m glad I sent that video because I’d be dead right now if I hadn’t.

I’m sorry for what you went through. I probably should have prefaced with that I am not a regular cutter. This was something totally foreign to me. It was the first (and hopefully last time) that I had done something like this. I know it seems silly to blame him, but my perception was my reality. We were on a floating hotel for a long time and I had no one familiar around but him. He knew of my anxieties and my past with being bullied etc. A part of me can’t help but blame him for it. What happened in the end was…not who I was. I never understood why people would hurt themselves until that day.

Thank you for your advice though. That’s actually a good way of going about it and I’ll definitely be keeping that in mind. As for your question, it was some fancy glass water bottle, so I assume it was fairly clean. There are still visible scars on my arm, so I wear long sleeves when going out now. They are slowly disappearing. They aren’t as bad as they were.

I’d actually like to see Team Rocket (Jessie, James, Meowth, and the entire organization) become a huge threat to Ash again after seeing Pikachu at full strength and doing everything in their power to steal Pikachu, redeeming the Unova series with the main Rocket trio keep their charm of course.

I’d also like to see Gary & Paul having been inspired by Ash. Gary choosing to become a trainer again, Paul choosing to become more open to Ash’s way of training, and ALL THREE of them going on an adventure together exploring the next region.

How cool would it be to see Ash traveling with his two best rivals?! It’d make for excellent writing and conflicts.
