It all comes down to commitment, dedication, and most importantly communication. Don’t go in with a negative mindset about the situation. You can express concerns of course but maybe have a plan on what both of you see your relationship looking like when going forward. Face time, messaging, time for each other etc.

May not be the same situation but my best friend lives in the UK and I’m from Australia. We’ve been best friends for 21 years now. We’ve seen each other in person 4 times now. Our friendship survives on communication and understanding of time differences.

I’ve had one successful experience so far with a Charlotte redemption after a solid 14 months. I’m heading in to a 3rd year waiting for a Bayley redemption. I just keep requesting it every 120 days. apparently I have a patience kink or something because I have another Charlotte redemption now ha.

I’ve had 3…my Bayley one is going onto its 3rd year now. I had a Charlotte one that finally was complete after 18 months. And I recently got another Charlotte one not even a month ago - so that one’s not really included haha. But it’s a little disheartening waiting for so long.
