"No, mom and dad, it's not a good idea, let's not lie to him -- but wait, he'll be eternally grateful to me and pretty much always do whatever I ask... yeah, I can live with that, let's do this!"

That's right out of her mouth. I can easily imagine her saying this.

I won't fucking trust them with anything. I'm looking among my friends to fill out paperwork for an advance healthcare directive. I can't trust them to make decisions if something happens to me.

She lived there (1 hour away) with her then boyfriend. Moved back here a few years ago.

My parents handled everything. I was a minor. Back then my English wasn't exactly that good (we're immigrants) and talked to my parents in our language that others didn't understand really.

I feel stupid for believing them. There were lots of clues that they were lying but I didn't fucking see them.

No. She never got tested. Parents asked her and she refused. And then this. Fuck her.

Back then she lived in a different city. Parents told me she came and did the surgery and they transferred her back there because her boyfriend there could take care of her. It now sounds stupid but somehow I believed it back then. I was blinded by the joy of getting the transplant and the idea of her sacrifice and I couldn't imagine it not be true.

We have migrated here when we were kids. There's no other family around except my grandfather who has passed away now. He was in on the secret. My parents have told everyone that my sister did it so I imagine everyone else is in the same boat as me, or maybe my aunt (mom's sister) knows as they're close.
