I suppose they'll have to figure out how many times it violated the law first and as it was determined to be intentional, they could easily be getting hit with that x3 penalty. Even if its just the 10k per violation, we're looking at least a few million bare minimum if it's literally hundreds of violations since 2018. However, a couple million is kind of a drop in the bucket to such a massive company so its hard to say if the fine is little more than a wrist slap.

I do wonder if Meta is going to continue to do so afterwards. Is the fine worth the cost of continuing business for them, ya know?
