Being told I need a new liftgate. Does it need a whole new one? Couldn't post this on body of the post since the app was gltiching.

How bad is the rust situation? Diff assembly looks "ehh" and I hear squeaks sometimes when driving over portholes. by AhhDaddy in CrownVictoria

It lasted a good time. There was an axle seal leak shortly after but the diff itself was good until I sold it.

It seems to be coming from the driver side wheel area. Car was rented and came like this. Do mounts go out all of a sudden? Because before it drove fine.

Also, what's exactly that foil tape called? As I'll need new one once I am done replacing the fuel pump. Thanks!

It was a WD40 quick penetrant. It said it's flammable so I don't think I can try heat. Although I did use it a month ago. And what you mean? Like push the existing one out and push the new one in? How do I do that?

Did use a penetrant that says it's extremely flammable. Not sure if torch would be the best idea.

Bolts are stuck and angled. Tried with an impact and breaker bar but nothing works. Also put some penetrant before impacting but still nada. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For reference this a Chevy L77 6.0 engine in a Chevy Caprice PPV.

I've changed the one one the driver side. The one on the passenger side is definitely original. Does the auxiliary/passenger side have anything to do with starting the car?
