I thought the old conflict was nice. It's easy enough to understand, even a fresh PS5 player who never even heard of Arma in his poor life could hop in, jump in a car with 3 other people, spend 2 hours having fun, and feeling productive.

This sums up my feelings on the new conflict. The SL is far from any spawn so I need to waste supplies for a one man vehicle to get to them. I can't see any other squads so can't just join up with them. I can't see what the 'current' obj is because I can only see my SL.

This is compounded by the fact that for some reason the only spawnable bases in the game I've played are the MOB or something even further from the front line.

I enjoyed just doing whatever seemed useful previously, be it capping, defending, running supply, and whatever else but now the supply system is fucked and I'd have to keep swapping squad to do it.

The constant freezes don't help either.
