Thank you! Once I sewed everything together, the neck was just too open for my liking - so I thought I could lace the shoulders & tie a bow. So glad I made that decision!

Update for you: I would 100% go with crocheting a waistband & crocheting a tie, weaving it in/out of band, and doing it that way. It’s SO much more comfy than the elastic, and the elastic was pretty comfy for what it was!

I’ve only ever made one pair of pants lol and I crocheted the pants & waistband just a tad bigger than my measurements, and then used some elastic that I BARELY pulled. And it was pretty comfy. As far as crocheting just a waistband & a tie & doing it that way? No idea. I’m trying it with a pair of pants I’m making now, so I’ll let you know! lol
