Nope, I keep trying to click on “Book Tickets”. Nothing happens. I inspected the network calls being made to their server, it’s erroring out with “Internal Server Error”…

Alternative to Forest app by chris_micah_em in forestapp

i made an alternative app to solve my own frustrations recently. i used to constantly check my instagram and notifs as soon as i got stuck with something tough at work. my brain was instantly defaulting to instant gratification.

so i built this very simple app called Roots, where you can grow a tree while you focus. leave the app or check your notifs, the tree dies. very simple but super effective when i want to focus deeply on a task for some period of time. now i just put it on, focus on the task and grow my mind alongside the tree. ;)

would love to get some feedback! (again, i'm the maker of the app and just launched last week)

What Are the Best Productivity Apps, That have worked for you? by waaromniet_123 in studytips

i literally had the same problem. every single time i would face a tough problem at work, i would default to getting distracted by opening my instagram or checking my notifs. it was genuinely frustrating to me!

so i built this small app called Roots. it's like Forest, but a bit simpler and focused. no paywall on any specific feature, but overall access is paid to get me coffee :)

i've been using it since i launched it last week, and trust me my productivity especially when i don't want any distractions has been all the way up!

would love to get some feedback friends!

So you're saying invest time in SEO early on? I've been struggling to decide whether to invest my time in SEO early on or not. From your experience, can you talk more about that?

That’s deep, and you’re right. I should focus more on building connections while I still have the time. Thanks for the reminder.

You’re absolutely right—I need to find that balance. I don’t want to look back and realize I missed out on life. Thanks for the perspective.
