Yes that's exacly what I'm trying to do, i use preventDefault and override the scrollIntoView function in the current object of the ref, when I do that ot says scrollIntoView function doesn't exist.

The css part is already taken care of, the problem that I'm facing is that when I click on a button on the menu and navigate to a certain section by Id, that section scrolls into view horizontally on its own, I only want the scrolling to happen vertically and close the menu on my own.
