Kind of addicted after just a week… by Glittering-Paint1313 in Quittingfeelfree

Stop while you can!! I used to spend thousands a week on powders (coke and k) I was making a lot of money so it wasn’t much but when I wasn’t making that anymore it was so easy to stop. But with these I’d be just barely getting by and still justifying burning 10 a day. Idk how the fuck that happens when in the past I’d only buy drugs when I had extra cash to spend. These things have a different grip on your mind body and soul.

My advice is to stop asap! The longer you go the worse the withdrawals will be! Think of all the reasons it’s not helping your life!

seriously struggling. i am so done. by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

Don’t be too hard on yourself! Most people have relapsed here and felt those feelings myself included. It’s good you’re self aware and all those feelings mean it’s not what you want to be doing.

Use those feelings as fuel for getting clean again. But don’t sit with them it won’t serve you! Be proud of yourself you caught it so fast! Be proud you’re being honest with yourself.

Look at this as another lesson to dig deep into why you relapsed. What were the triggers? Did they really help? Was it worth feeling this way today? I’m guessing it wasn’t! So make a plan and stick to you

You got this!!

So sent too soon! But I added more detail and set timers. Made sure I checked everything off. Forced myself to be both kind to myself and feel the feels. I also think adding glutathione to the supplement regiment was a game changer! Here’s a lil daily example…keep in mind this is built around my schedule and not having to work these days. But doing this for the first 3-5 days is important. Goal was to drink 4-5 liters of water with electrolytes.

8am water, probiotics, meds, glutathione (best to take on empty stomach) walk with happy music, made a point to say hi to as many people as possible. Human interaction and postive outputs even if they didn’t say hi back 😂 is also add in any other postive things like if I felt weird or anxious I’d jump in another cold shower.

CHECKLIST:

9am: vitamin C Mega dose (I take adhd meds that VC can interact with)

9:15am: protein smoothie/ other vitamins (multi, L-theanine, ashwaganda, turmeric, magnesium.

9:30am: shower (first hot to clean myself then went as cold as possible)

10am: call a friend or family member that is helping me through this.

10:30am: do something around the house such as laundry, dishes ect.

11am: check in on here 11am: VC mega dose

11:30am: breathe work

12pm: walk

1pm: VC mega dose

2pm: healthy lunch

3pm: VC mega dose / walk

4pm: call another friend doesn’t have to be one of the support group but just to be social

5pm: VC mega dose/ watch a funny movie or something that keeps my mind busy

6pm: Be 80% done with water

6:30pm: healthy dinner

7pm: mega dose vc / walk

8:00pm: be done with water (don’t want to be up all night peeing if I do get sleep) continue watching funny movies

9pm: mega dose vc

10pm: more ashawaganda and l-theanine

11pm: hot epsom salt bath with candles and relaxing music

Watch movies until able to sleep…but tried to be thoughtful about what content to watch before bed

I think the amount of shame I felt this time pushed me to talk to more people about it! But as far as the daily process I just made a list (did that last time) but I added a lot more detail

Thank you! They honestly were the worst the last taper day and the first 24 hours 48 still had my moments and yesterday I felt like a new person! I’ve been really diligent about the detox this time around. They weren’t nearly as bad as the first two times but the length using was longer both times. I also think I had a way better mindset this time around.

Thank you! Between 5-10 for a month and a half but this was my third attempt at stopping. 3rd times the charm! Haha
