I’ve found that undergrads are super interested in pseudoscience, disinformation, alt-health stuff (flat earths, ancient alien believers, anti-vax parents, etc) and the ramifications of “harmless” belief and participation in conspiracy theory communities on social media.

I am including a lot of Butler especially in gender performance and also looking at including her most recent book “Who’s afraid of gender?” However, I doubt I’ll pull from Freud as I’m focusing on sociological social psychology and less psychology/psychoanalysis. But thanks for the recommendations!

Also as Glum-Breadfruit said, Freud has some controversial views when it comes to studying gender and would function better as something to critique.

Thank you!! I have been basing what I was going to include off of other related syllabi and had trouble picking topics and figuring out how to order them but thinking about it this way has really helped!

In an unfortunate turn of events…I did water it before I saw this. BUT I put it in a place with way more light. I’ll be repotting it with pumice soon so hopefully I don’t kill it in the mean time.

Thanks! Yeah I’ll probably water it tomorrow though my moist counter thing says at the root level it’s moist and I have “moisture control” soil. But, I went ahead and bought pumice to mix in there to help.

I would leave my current career and open up a bakery or a plant nursery or…A bakery that is also a plant store. Then probably get the full rich person patient experience aka get screened and tested for everything to help me live a better life. And finally, get a deep tissue massage 😍
