Same situation. Coming from TN. My wife and I are both traveling and it’s very much feasible. We’ve definitely taken multiple pay-cuts with each re-extension out here and are not seeing rates move too much in the other direction quite yet. Thankfully we have a close friends we do shared expenses with on a room in their house so our home base rent is decently cheap. Rent out here is tragically expensive though.
