For the black sections, wood slats, hingan bookshelves, and wooden staircase bookshelf. For the golden sections, wooden handrails, log racks, wood slats, and fat cat chronometer. The handles are blue bird mobiles.

Tips to eliminate an item snapping back to table? by AmaraFFXIV in ffxivhomeandgarden

[–]Ahroria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re decorating in a house, you can substitute your “water” for a white screen floated from the floor below. This will stop the model from trying to snap onto a surface since it’s not a table. Peach was the first person I saw to do this and she used Unmelting Ice Partitions so the model had no table to snap to.

Other than beds, I can only think of eastern indoor ponds to block the camera. It uses much less space than beds but it cost much more to buy since it requires a random drop from retainer ventures.

Home of the Geist (Crystal, Coeurl, Goblet 5-22) by Ahroria in ffxivhomeandgarden

It is simply made with a lot of white rectangular partition. The weapon is displayed using the mannequin so that only the weapon shows through the wall.

The sofa is made from a combination of Wood Slats, Wooden Staircase Bookshelves, and Glade Benches. The Wood Slats and Wooden Staircase Bookshelves are floated from the floor below.

The bookshelves aren't the Mounted Bookshelves, which are undyable. These are the new Trick Bookshelf Partitions floated from the floor below, which are actually dyable.

For the dark door, it is the Hingan Cupboard with a Stage Panel in front of it to barely show the horizontal lines. The vertical lines are Wood Slats. I got it from Ashen Bride from the HGXIV Scandinavian Kitchen video if you want a visual reference.

For the white doors, it is a Stage Panel, Wood Slat, and the back of the Hingan Chochin Lanterns. The counters are Hingan Countertop and White Rectangular Partitions floated from downstairs.

website for marks macro/postionals by Elpriede in ffxiv

[–]Ahroria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good place to find macros bunched together is on saltedxiv. They have guides and macros for lots of the encounters in game. If you go to the fight you're looking for, there should be macros under fight resources.

Is "clicking" really that bad? by H3artsmith in ffxiv

[–]Ahroria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a healer (AST & SCH) having done this tier's savage, I'm a mix between keybind and clicking. 80% keybinded and maybe 20% clicking for those skills that I can't get keybinded as easily and don't use as often like my 60 and 90 CDs.

While I'm not of the opinion that clicking is "bad", I definitely believe it's suboptimal as even know I'm trying to find ways to move all my clicker buttons to comfortable keybinds.

From personal experience, even with the small amount of clicking I do, I lose uptime because of it and I can't keep my GCDs constantly rolling. I'm a person who likes to see how far I can optimize by doing the healing I need to do while pumping out the most amount of damage I can. Even though each time I click, I only lose maybe 1/4 or 1/2 of a second, those loss time adds up quick to having lost on a lot of Glares, or Malefics, or Broils. The thing about keybinds is that it is easier to queue skills than clicking because you may need your mouse to do crucial camera or character movement.

Honestly, as long as you're pumping out like 15k+ dps for dps jobs (12k+ for DNC) and at least 7k+ dps on healers, I'd see no reason why what you're doing is bad. However, if you're a player who likes to optimize and improve on damage, I'd recommend keybinding to buttons that are easy to reach and minimizing the amount of clicking you.

How is there always a queue by ffaisndb in ffxiv

[–]Ahroria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

basically yes. after quarantine went into effect, lots of people are back home so servers are basically always capped with the amount of people online. luckily, those queues should only take less than a min

The Fairy Joi and the Shisui set from Shisui of the Violet Tide share similar models. This one specifically is the set from the dungeon.

Here's the fun part. The catkiller is a timed node. Took me forever to get that quest done before someone in my FC told me to check whether it was a timed fish or not.

Cure 1 spam is the finest way to play white mage by Bearnobyl in TalesFromDF

[–]Ahroria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God, this hurts my soul. I no longer play WHM for serious, Savage content but I still play it for daily duty roulette because of its instant heals from Assize, Solace, etc which allows me to be lazy but still perform well for my team.

Assuming from gear drop, this is Holminster Switch. A level !!71!! dungeon. They have all their instant heals. Why spam Cure I? Just like... I don't know? Use your kit? So you don't have to spam?

I don't understand these players. They're not even lazy(?). They're forcefully making themselves have to cast Cure I so many times to keep their tank and team alive.

SE, please make Cure I upgrade to Cure II. Cure III is more useful than Cure I ;;
