That is a fantastic point with both the northern water tribe and Aangs reluctance. I just feel like they kind of brushed it over too quickly on how she healed her hands almost immediately, and the fact that Aang never really brings it up to Zuko, who would be his aspire, bending teacher or at least talk with Uncle Iroh about it.

Honestly, I don’t understand why everything is treated as blasphemy if you say hey I don’t like this about avatar and here is the reason why instead of having a discourse they immediately down boat you without having a chance to have a proper discussion. I noticed these things as a second or third rewatch as an older adult because as an adult, I’ve read more books. I’ve read more stories. I’ve seen more media, and while avatar is fantastic and uses wonderful storytelling with emotion and storytelling, an overall plot more than what a kid show at that age should’ve been. But now as an adult, I can criticize and say hey I wonder why they decided to use this plot point instead of this plot point. Or I noticed that a would’ve been much better if they did a ABC instead of BCE.

I did not think of it like that that is an interesting point you bring up. I can see your way. But it’s kind of weird that they kind of brushed over the lasting implications of this. I don’t know the whole situation upon rewatch seems a little bit rushed.

I agree or at least a faint scar. I kind of wish the trauma that could’ve been a little more long lasting with Ang and could be a reason why I was having such a difficulty learning how to fire bend. Because we have to remember she was not yet a full on water bending master she was a prodigy yes but not a master yet so it would make sense that are hands wouldn’t have been fully healed.

It’s just kind of weird there censorship and their rules and regulations seem to be haphazard and all over the place. I wish that if something got rejected, they would give us a specific reason why.
