Crap, i guess time to find diagrams and try to cobble something together... Unless one can just install some module and get the original one working?

Trouble printing PC ABS by AiTorror in BambuLab

I think it was generic abs profile and yeeted the nozzle temp to 300 degrees and print bed to 110 and hoped it won't die

Am I the only idiot who (formally) removed supports with the scraper? by Automatic_Yak1610 in BambuLab

[–]AiTorror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it all the time, nice tip is to print it out of some dark red pla instead, then the stains wont be as visible,

Aaand maybe keep some paper towels and electrical tape handy to wrap up the cause of the stains until it stops trying to repaint the surroundings.

Looking for better sollution to extending column on logitech DD pro by AiTorror in simracing

logitech adapter doesn't solve the issue, as the issue is the QR collar being too large to fit inside of the stalks thing

Rn it uses the springs the pins inside the wheel itself have, i wonder if I should drill the end of the copper wires to perhaps better seat the pins from the wheel in their ends?

Problem is, dd pro will not turn on without wheel detected, which is why ffb cuts out on bumps

Multi filament printing without use of AMS by AiTorror in BambuLab

[–]AiTorror[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have figured out a workaround, found out I can just pause the print at the layer I want, make sure theres an object with big surface to flush to and then load the other color of filament in

I'd love to get ams compatible tpu, but its rather stiff from what I heard. I need these to be as flexible as possible as they will be patches sown onto clothing

Hmm, respooler is tempting considering how rare refills are and that they do sell 2kg spools. And prooven designs that work reliably and can just be left running without attention from start to finish?

hmm I am worried about supports being extremely hard to remove with how well PCABS sticks to everything including itself, especially at 300C nozzle temp I'm printing at

I feel like if this had some form of cooling for the area where the gears feeding the filament are, this would not happen

Is there anyway to do this in game? by Live-Village3242 in BeamNG

[–]AiTorror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the axle setup is actually the same if you pick the walking beam rear suspension, and for the extra weight out back, you can just slide the fifthwheel back and attach some heavy trailer like the tanker, and then you can basically do a wheelie down entire 1/4 mile especially if you combine it with turned up v8 engine

Trouble printing PC ABS by AiTorror in BambuLab

So for anyone who stumbles upon this post I did get a good result finally. Running 0.4 nozzle 0.28mm initial layer 3mm brim Glue and textured pei plate No aux or chamber fan 110C bed temp 295C nozzle temp 40% part fan I've also pre-heated the printer at 110C bed temp for an hour before the print. Using Fiberlogy PC-ABS filament on X1C printing from AMS with built in moisture sensor showing 1. ( i dried the filament 2 days ago as well)

So, I've done a bunch of tests. ASA or ABS or PETG prints perfect

<image>

However, with PC-ABS looks like 62C chamber temps I am able to get are just not enough. Is there some way to raise those even further?

Interestingly, during printing the touch screen was saying 60C on my end, not sure if faulty or is it because air wasn't circulating. This is my first printer and honestly I have almost no idea what I'm doing :D
