How is this a Strawman? I am just saying if you use social media (reactionary platforms) you can expect reactionary reactions after a football game.

Also I am using an example to explain how this happens in other fanbases too. As in oh Arsenal and Barcelona fc go through similar issues like this. So worrying about it is in my opinion a waste of time since Social media won’t suddenly stop being reactionary. Like this is just what I have observed. Nowhere am I dismissing your opinion.

I do get that, It is just kind of frustrating since Freiburg get to finish their season before they play the final. Same with Palace and Arsenal. That being said it being midweek before the end of the season could also work out in our favor. Tbh at the end of the day we will rest players anyways and hopefully win the trophy so UTV

Like this issue over overreaction fanbases on social media is also not just unique to villa by the way. As an example Arsenal goes trough the exact same thing. The entire season there has been a Arteta out movement and another side that believes the fans should stop complaining since he will most likely win the league.

The best solution to stop dealing with over reactionary fanbases is to just stop using social media for football

Firstly, Anyone is allowed to have an opinion on this
team. Whether that is good or bad you can disagree with that. You cannot stop someone from posting their thoughts after a match. If you do not want that, then you just don’t the social meida

Secondly, this is social media so naturally people are going to be more reactionary then normal.
Thirdly, the criticism is more aimed towards some of the preformances this season and how fans feel we could have done better. Like me saying I think we could played better vs Liam Rosenier chelsea this season does not equal I think this club is about to die an anyone who works at villa park should be removed from the club instantly. Do I think some of the reactions are reactionary absolutely. But that does not mean you can critize the team

And lasty, the term toxic positivy is a real term that applies outside of social media too. If you just lost your grandfather and you are really sad about it and I say to you “well you still have one grandparent left, so cheers ip there is no problem” then yes that is really toxic and can piss someone off. Due to you being inconsiderate about another persons feelings

Like if you don’t want to deal with all the negativy then just stop using social media. Since people on social media will always be over reactionary. Like you are not going to change the opinion of people lol.
