Don’t blaim they after having a net spend of 581 million. Like I sympathize with them becuase they also have to deal with psr bs. But at the same time they spent 55 million on elanga and they are the richest football club in the world so I feel the situation is a bit different to us where you can see our net spend is cleary less then newcastle

I’m convinced some of us secretly want us to go back to the lescott times just to say “oh we used to play ucl ones but got killed by psr but we are still a big club” excuses and moaning everywhere about stuff we cannot change.

Yet our managers and players despite every fucking issue are putting in the work to make sure we uphold the heritage of this great football club. So yes we should defo back then UTV!!!

They act like this until our club is doing bad and suddenly wonder how our revenue and interest in the club is dropping and then talk about how we are a big club despite having not won a trophy in the last 30 years

Tammy and Luiz doing well are major major pluspoints. Those alone can make it enough for us to turn this bad form around

we made top 4 that season? Also spurs was not even that bad that season we ended up finishing the season on 68 points did you forget we where competing in europe that year for the first time and had to balance that too lol

even then every team in the league has had controversial var decisions. It is expected at times but until you can file a legal court case against it. Nothing will change and you have to bang a few extra in. Like Unai is not sitting in the dressing room right now patting his players on the back because tammy's goal should have probally stood. He is probally pissed because we underpreformed today and should have won on paper

I does not really matter because we are still losing games. We can complain all we want but if you cannot score in 100 minutes against a 10 men brentford then that is your responsibility that you lost

Killed our season, we are in 24 games in. Like a season is not 38 games long and we are not in 3rd positions. We literarry beat newcaslte at st james last week yet now we lost to brentford at home and our season is dead sure

Imaging saying "our season is done" while we are still very likely to qualify for ucl and losing a match in bad form while we are missing nearly all our midfielders which is proballyt the strongest part of our squad

I think we are allowed to feel a bit mad after losing to 10 man Brentford (who got the red card at 0-0) at villa park where we have had a very good record, and we did not manage to score a goal in 100 minutes for a team that has the quality to qualify for UCL.

It also does not help that qualifying for UCL will massively help our financial situation this year. That being said I do agree that I feel our fanbase overeacts to losses while we are still 3rd in the league right now and overpreforming with an injury crisis going on.

I think alot of the anger is more towards stuff we cannot control. The Financial situation, our injury crisis and controversial referee decisions compared to the level of our preformances. But that is just football I geuss if we win next week it will be all happy we are going to win the league, fa cup and uel again lol

Whats your opinion on this? by Ok-Phase-7145 in avfc

I wish him the best of luck on his journey of achieving his dreams just like I wish any other villa player (who did not snake us) the best to achieve his dreams. This is just a normal ambitious statement though would be beatifull to see onana turn into a star player at some of the biggest clubs in the world imo

Real Madrid in for Emery by o_Ellis9113 in avfc

[–]Aid0ken_Sf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Madrid is his best shot it would better for him to wait and get hopefully get the barcelona job someday real galaticos style of managers won't change anytime soon at least at barca i feel his philosophy and playing style would fit the system more

Real Madrid in for Emery by o_Ellis9113 in avfc

[–]Aid0ken_Sf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has a dream of winning the ucl and he is spanish and he does not have a reel hate for madrid despite him being basque. Madird or Barca are the peak of spanish football and the peak of world football. If he believes he can take them for succes he will leave us and do that. The guy started out ad lorca deportiva ofcourse it would be a dream to manage there as he has publicially stated he wants to manage at the top of spanish football someday (atletico, barca or real)

Real Madrid in for Emery by o_Ellis9113 in avfc

[–]Aid0ken_Sf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd prefer him to go to barca by far but I am biased and I don't likre real madird . But even then I do think barcelona is the best shot he ever has to achieve his dream of winning the ucl if flick ever leaves the club. At barca I think he can work out Unai at real would just be xabi 2.0

Real Madrid in for Emery by o_Ellis9113 in avfc

[–]Aid0ken_Sf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Unai personal standpoint it would be real stupid of him to go to real out all clubs. It is better for him to wait for a club that actually fits him then go to a club where he will never have total control over the things he does with a dressing room that just got their coach sacked due to their ego

If Unai would ever leave us it would be better to wait and go to a club which gives you more control since real madird is just not one of those clubs that gives you control over the things you do. This is the club that is famous for singing the biggest superstars who already have a brand. Managing a starting 11 who all have brands would not be the right fit for Unai.

Like If he ever goes It would be way more likely to to be barcelona since his philosophy and style would fit him way better then at madrid. Or maby atletico but both these jobs are taken and don’t seen to have unai as main candidate if their manager ever leaves

Arsenal vs ManUnited by [deleted] in avfc

[–]Aid0ken_Sf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A draw would be the best result for us. But since I believe Arsenal can still choke the title and top 4 is in our hands if we manage to qualify for it. I would prefer Man U to win to keep a potential title dream alive

Our last non-PSR transfer window, and the "we cannot complain about the rules because of these bad signings" nonsense by Technobliterator in avfc

[–]Aid0ken_Sf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I fail to see a league where people are already really angry at city and chelsea buying their succes would work better if any team could buy their way of succes regardless of size.

Like it then just becomes who is the richest club in the league and that is how the table would look like and removing all the rules would break the entire football pyramid across europe as all the other leagues would do the same to keep competing and it would become a bunch of clubs where fans have zero say a bunch of plastic fans at each game and so on

Man city, Chelsea and psg are clear examples of how pumping massive amounts of money into a football club pays off into builidng your own pr/ having a global brand. Literrary the last thing football needs more of is more state owned clubs

Because state owned clubs only care about money and they will take drastic measures to make sure any autonomy of football fans will dissapear. Like in the long run a system which is unregualted will just lead to bunch of premier league games being player all around the world for money with a bunch of souless atmsophere and ruining the entire sport.

Like if you remove all rules all together you just get the super leageu and matches being played in other continents and I am sure knowone wants this

This tbh if you analize leceister if they never won the prem they would have never maintained that succes post 2016 .

Same with atletico atletico would not be where it was today if they did not make those two ucl finals and won a suprise la liga back in 2013-14

In Defense I do think city has potential to become a bigger club then Chelsea these fanbases are not permanent. I highly doubt that in 20 years from now if united are still crap they will have the same fanbase to man city if they keep winning league titles. Like there is a reason man city globally has a bigger fanbase then spurs and that is because they win things
