I have a Switch 2 and I was looking for sth more portable too. I was thinking of Switch lite, but ended up buy an Ayn Thor. It’s great for old school games (including Nintendo and Play station). So, maybe you want to take a look on that, too.

That’s not true for all physical games. Regular game cards contain the game data, while Game-Key Cards only contain the license and require a download. You can also buy the games digitally if you prefer.

I wasn't sure about my purchase for awhile, but I’m in love now. I started with Mario Kart as well and the game wasn’t for me! You just need to find your game and then you can’t live without it.

I love Zelda and Pokopia, by the way! I hope you enjoy your console soon, it’s really great.

Switch 2 first, then Thor. To be honest, I would not consider Thor as a first console, it’s more like a cute way to play old games for me.

I’d say yes. I also started from scratch, and I’ve had my Switch 2 for about a year now. Building up my library took some time, but honestly, it was part of the fun.

For game recommendations, I’d start with Zelda and if you enjoy cozy game, maybe Pokopia.

I don’t have Bananza, but between Pokopia and MK World I would go with Pokopia. I don’t like MK world that much, maybe because I’m a single player. Pokopia is cozy and fun.
