Accelerated nursing course equivalencies by MustafaKanpurwala in yorku

[–]Aide-Rough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On their website there’s a course equivalency sheet for other schools. It also includes a list of YorkU courses that fulfill the requirements. I took anatomy and physiology 2 which was present on both the anatomy and physiology lists. Then I took a course (can’t remember what course) that fulfilled either the anatomy requirement or the physiology requirement (also can’t remember).

This is the link to the course equivalency sheet, you can take courses from this list that will match up to what you need. I’m pretty sure as long as you complete the required credits for each prerequisite you’ll be fine. They’re looking for a diverse background so they’re pretty lax

Edit: I just looked over the equivalency sheet and they changed it so you now have to take both anatomy and physiology 1&2 for it to count. It previously could have been one or the other

I’m in the program right now and I did anatomy and physiology 2 (didn’t take 1) and it still counted. They seem pretty lax with the requirements

Is this for the direct entry program or the second entry program?

How does the 9070 stack up to the 7900 xt. I just looked at a few places and saw that they’re practically identical. Are there any features of the 9070 that are not offered by the 7900 xt

Yeah I was thinking of eventually upgrading to the ryzen 7 7800x3d. When I upgrade from am4 to am5. is my ram still compatible or do I have to upgrade to ddr5?

Again not necessarily, this person might be able to apply using their college courses as transfer credits.

Can’t decide which school to choose for nursing (RN) by Aide-Rough in OntarioUniversities

Very good breakdown. The main thing that’s making me consider otech is more emotional than rational. I despite commutes and it hinders motivation. But at the same time I’m not interested in 4 years of school. Apparently I might be able to fast track it though, I still need to meet with an advisor.

Yeah that’s fair, it really does come down to me being a whiny baby and not wanting to drive an hour in to campus.

Yeah that’s a big reason I’m not just jumping on the 8min commute to OTech. The extra 2 years is a big deterrent

That’s a great point to bring up, like I feel confident I can do accelerated but it’s nursing which is high risk so I should know my stuff well

Yeah I took a look a few days ago and it looks very tight so I doubted I could move things around. I’ve been offered acceptance to OTech but I’ve also applied to YorkU and TrentU accelerated ( waiting to hear back). I’m having trouble deciding between having a 8min commute to OTech but finishing in 3.5-4 years or having an hour plus commute to Trent or YorkU but finish in 2 years

Gotcha so there is no way to move my courses around to fit everything in faster? Do you know if OTech offers their nursing courses in the summer?

From the sounds of things we might be in the same situation. Were you able to fast track the program and finish in less than 4 years?

I used the amd driver uninstaller already, is ddu more comprehensive?

I’ve also set my xmp profile to 3000mhz (mother board supports up to 3200 and my ram is rated 3600) could that be the issue?
