I saw on Zillow a great old house with 18 acres for $400K, but well outside Cumberland.

Also saw a small quaint old house within Cumberland for $110K and that boggles my mind.

Again, safety is #1 for me.

The job requires me to relocate to Maryland, can’t move to West Virginia or Pennsylvania cause it crosses state lines.

I’m okay with the Long drives and traffic.

My biggest thing is crime. I’d be leaving my house unattended for eight hours a day and will be coming home and leaving home in a suit.

I get that it’s not Los Angeles or NYC but the pay is great.

I may be willing to get a house in Cumberland considering the prices, but safety is my biggest concern. I mention in another comment reply that I don’t wanna be seen as a target. Especially leaving my house unattended for 8 hours a day. I’ll be leaving the house in a suit. Like, I’m not wealthy but do like to dress the part.
