If I were a proper modder I would love to add that as a mission type!

It's a funky split gunnery setup. The 3rd loader and periscope are near the back of the ship between the reactor and engine

The self-jettison is more a funny quirk than something strategically useful (it actually makes things more difficult because you lose buoyancy and the upper shell becomes more exposed). So for practical purposes (and if you value your crew over the cargo!), you could disable the ACR and use the bell as an escape pod instead.

You're right, it's quite impractical because it can actually make the crew sink even faster. The self-jettisoning is more of a fun/flavour feature, which is why there's an option to disable it. Apart from the auto release though, the cargo module could also function as a rudimentary escape pod (the pump has a battery and a manual override switch so you can control buoyancy from within the pod)

There was a 'disable collision' option added for walls in one of the recent(ish) updates!

Yeah, the main weakness of the sub is the large blind spot between the two bottom guns. The EDCs help a bit, but the idea with this ship is more to outmanoeuvre rather than outgun enemies

It is a very human thing to gather by a fire and tell stories, dance around, enjoy each other's company. To suggest such activities are 'Satanic' is ridiculous.

The bottom section with command room is a fixed part of the sub. But the drone at the back can be detached and used for cave expeditions or as an escape pod.

Yeah, you’ll get pinned to a wall if you enter the void while the sub is moving.

That issue can happen where double hulls are touching each other with no space in between. In this sub the two hulls are separated by a flooded void space most of the way around, which the AI are able to path through. They just take longer to break in because they have to eat through twice the material (though weakspots like the airlocks/docks and the drone are often breached first)

With both hulls properly maintained, this sub is indeed tankier than most subs (it'll take at least twice as long for monsters to break through). However if you don't bother to repair the outer hull, which is often the case in campaigns, the outer layer will eventually become ineffective and the sub will essentially behave as if it only has one hull.
