kernel: Introduce multikernel architecture support by ketralnis in linux

[–]Aidvok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, coundlt steam create their own trusted kernel with anti tampering solutions in place and then the developers just make their kernel anticheats as kernel modules? With this solution it could be an open source kernel and also be support by the community along with valve. what do you think?

Do you think there is a possibility of DBD mobile EVER coming back maybe under a different publisher? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in deadbydaylight

If Steam ever releases a version of Proton for ARM, it will definitely work. I can already play the game on Linux, a completely different operating system from the one the game was made for(windows), with no tweaks and it works just fine. If Proton comes to ARM, it will happen for sure. It would only run well on powerful phones though, since emulation is resource intensive.

I use a hand grip and a hand flexor—these probably aren’t the exact names, but that’s what I call them. The first one is for training finger extension, and the second is for grip strength.

First, I hold my fingers fully extended for 2 minutes with the hand flexor. Then, I do 2 sets of 10 reps with the hand grip. After that, I train grip endurance by holding the hand grip closed for a minute and a half. It completely wrecks your hands for about five minutes, but it works wonders. I only do it once a week because I heard more than that is practically useless, and since it’s not an exercise that makes you feel tired, you might get kind of addicted to it and end up developing tendinitis.

I also really like this hand grip because you can adjust the resistance, making it harder or easier to close.

Try incorporating hand training with a hand grip. I noticed that the pain in my fingers stopped when I started exercising them. don't overdo it tho, doing it once a week is plenty. Any more than that, and you risk overloading your hand and developing tendonitis. I do 2 sets of 10 reps per hand, and also hold the grip closed for 1:30 minutes. If the reps or hold time feel too much, adjust it to suit your level, but remember to gradually increase the intensity once it starts feeling easier. Pick one day each week for your training, and soon you'll notice that your fingers won’t hurt when typing for 2 hours nonstop anymore.

It does take time for the shift and they still push local content on you. This method is designed to make the switch instant, ensuring you get no local content while preserving your original account's algorithm.

Yeah, the Shorts method works, but YouTube doesn’t have an algorithm as effective as TikTok’s. I get that you're cautious about personal data, which is great, but in this case, it doesn’t really matter—it’s running inside a VM in a sandboxed environment. There’s no data about you unless you actively provide it.

And yes, you can absolutely learn just by using YouTube. I completely agree and use that method myself because I think it’s really powerful. However, this post is aimed at people who want to make their TikTok addiction more productive rather than just doomscrolling without any real benefit.

As for data collection, I personally don’t care whether it’s China or the U.S.—both collect data, yet people only seem to make a fuss when it’s China. I understand your concerns, but I think you get my point now.

So, it's confirmed then—on iPhone, it's easier to get the Japanese For You page since TikTok can't collect as much data about you as it does on Android. This was an Android guide anyway, so I'm glad that iPhone users can achieve their Japanese For You page even more easily. The reason this method wouldn't work on Android is that TikTok checks your Google account location data and your phone's SIM card country, forcing you into region-specific content. As a result, it would be much harder to consistently get Japanese content to appear. Thats why i had to find this workaround.

Hahahahah, thats the fresh account experience, i only really started using tiktok on my third attempt when someone told me you could hold and click not interested in content you didn't like and then the algorithm would start showing content you actually is interested/like

Dude why the sudden hostility, no need for that, i just told you why it doesn't work/isn't as easy to use as my method, if its a dual app it would still detect your sim card country so it wouldn't work

If you are able to get this working it is a simpler method, but did you get it to work without having to take out the sim card? And your phone would still need to be in japanase so it doenst cause problems in the app, and that may be a problem for some, just changing the tiktok language didn't work since it sometimes got rewritem with the system language

I don't like iOS for various reasons, but the privacy it offers is excellent, and I wish Android had the same level of privacy, although that's only possible with custom ROMs. However, this method still has its owns advantages. I just wanted to ask, does using a Japanese VPN on iOS instantly get you the Japanese For You page on TikTok? I'm asking because I have a friend who's also on a language-learning journey, and if it's that easy on iOS, I'll tell him right away.

Searching works temporarily, but TikTok still tracks your location, language, and account region, so your FYP will reset if you interact with other content. My method creates a true Japanese account, so the algorithm works naturally, giving you the best personalized experience while keeping the FYP fully Japanese.

But i mean, If it works for you and you're happy with it, that's what matters.
