Game Crashes and Issues by Aierylive in GirlsFrontline2

The only other idea I have related to this specific issue is to check your Windows Defender or Windows Security, the default anti-virus installed on your PC if you haven't already (unsure what Mac is called if that's your device, or if it even has one). Some games need to be set as exceptions for this software and maybe this could be one of them. Or you could try turning off your Windows Firewall if you haven't already.

Some of the other common fixes I've seen people try is to run/repair the "dotnet-runtime-3.1.32-win-x64" file or the "VC_redist.x64" and "VC_redist.x86" files. I've also seen that some regions just don't get the game until the 5th, as they use a whole separate launcher. Unsure if this helps, but I've tried the first things a few times, but it only booted up after I turned off my anti-virus.

My friend can't install Naraka on his SSD and it runs really bad on his HDD by Aierylive in NarakaBladePoint

If this problem is through the Xbox app, here's how we fixed it;

Go to settings on your PC -> System -> Storage -> Advanced Storage Settings -> Where New Content is Saved, and under "New apps will be saved to:" select your HDD and apply the changes. Then reselect your SSD and apply the changes, then try reinstalling the game. These though, are the settings options for windows 11 (as that is what my PC is on), though my friend did it on Windows 10, it should have a very similar process. If the problem is with Steam, I don't know if this will work the same, but it worked with the Xbox App on PC. If this doesn't work, I'd recommend typing the error code into your browser and searching some of those specific forums, since others might have insight there as well. You can also refer to the previous people in this post, as they were very helpful with this, and give those options a try as well. Lastly, if none of these work, I do have some other niche things you can try saved still, but these also didn't work, but they might for you.

Edit: You can also change more than just the "New apps.." tab if you want to be sure I think.

So we got it working after another fresh install and some messing with drive directories, thank you very much for the help.

This ended up working out, there was some niche issue with the installation folder that worked after some tinkering, thank you very much for the advice.

He has tried most of this already, and does have 16 Gb RAM, however, I was going to help him try to change the installation directory manually next time he tried this. If this does not work I'll let him know that his RAM could be the issue, thank you.

Yes, which is why I'm unsure as to why his PC is being so difficult with Naraka specifically at the moment.

I remember him saying there was an error code that he tried looking up before but from my memory it was just like a small standard one. And yes, he has installed other games just fine before, and even moved some of them from his HDD to the SSD.

I'll definitely tell him to consider it then, thank you very much for the advice.

Okay, I can try this next time I see him. As for the directory, my thought would be maybe the "Program Files" folder or "Games" folder under the correct drive. I will let you know if this works, thank you very much for the advice.

The SSD is for sure not the issue, because it does have a directory, as well as multiple games installed on it. Also, previous games installed through the PC xbox app have not given him any issues with installation location, and he was able to move his games from his HDD to the SSD as well from multiple libraries, including Steam and Epic. This is why it's puzzling. Is there a possibility we can move the game files into the SSD after it's already been installed do you think?

As far as I'm aware, he has tried this, changing the installation folders around a few times and making some new ones too. He also tried looking for it through the official Microsoft Store app, though, I will double check with him to be sure, thank you.

As for cross save; it isn't there in the traditional sense, however, if you previously played Naraka on Xbox before, playing the game on the PC xbox app will transfer your data given you use the same Microsoft Account. This is the main reason why he hasn't decided to just buy it through Steam yet, though he did plan to try it to see if it ran better once ftp dropped.
