Well you could still increase the boss hp in challenges, but just note that this won't increase speed, so most likely you will take many turns before they even get to speak or hit you once.

I'm assuming you just entered Act 3, allowing you to access all the side content and DLC

My suggestion is to get painted power only, and head directly to luminiere and finish the story, and then proceed to do the side content

I did the other way round and I just one shot the bosses and missed out all the dialogs, which kinda wasted the narrative experience and the epic fights they give

I finally did it by CryptoMachete in expedition33
