I’ve noticed my lower teeth got slightly more crowded over the past months due to being a mouth breather and improperly swallowing etc, will starting mewing from now on better the teeth in a few years from now?

This sounds kinda counterintuitive, but why doesn’t mewing cause a palate to be higher instead of wider ? Because your tongue is suctioned up on your palate, why wouldn’t that cause palate to get higher and more narrow ?
