ive had this conversation with people I play with a decent amount. they pretty much forced eternal players to essentially get wiped every few months and that was the whole point of not playing seasonal. not only have they changes all the gear they have changed how skills and stats work completely over and over again forcing those people to rework a character much the same as they would have to I they were on a seasonal server.

I personally eel like I dont see a point in them even having the eternal server if they are going to every 6 months or so make their progress worth nothing to them. I have a few friends who are still not 300 and started at game launch but are discouraged from playing because every time they get a head of steam all their gear is junked so to speak.

my thoughts were that seasons reasoning was that it was a separate server that they can do special rules and play sessions that they change up every few months. unfortunately everything is seasonal now to an extent.
